Strangnas, Saturday, February 28th
It was time to do it again! Two years have passed since the previous Winter Meet of the Swedish Historic Military Vehicle Association (MFHF), and time had come to arrange one again. The weather could not have been better - seasonally cold, dry roads and a clear sky.

Winter Meet with MFHF

Saturday the 28th of February the members of MFHF and this association met in Strangnas for a day.
The arrangement was really simple, of an "open house" character, where The Arsenal displayed some vehicles, and the members could do some winter driving on small local roads. Hot peasoup was served from the cooking trailer now owned by the association.

Close to 50 people found the way to the meet at some point during the day, and hopefully this could inspire to further spontaneous happenings.

Preparations and testing of the low pressure cooker

The association had just received a cooking trailer equipped with a wood-fueled low pressure cooker. Guess if it was exciting to try out if it was working!
As you can see on the left, large quantities of steam were generated.

Utspisning
Hot soup - a welcome diversion

The food - the in Swedish military circles ubiquitous peasoup - soon became hot, something which was really appreciated, since the temperature lingered around 10 degrees below freezing.
