Tank Day 2006 - Museum of Military Technology - Lesany, Prague

Every year the Museum of Military Technology arranges a "Tank Day" when the museum literally opens its gates - free entry and free parking. An estimated 25-30.000 visitors came this beautiful August Saturday to be thrilled by the spectacular vehicle displays, enjoy the well made museum halls or simply stroll in the marvellous surroundings - the museum is wonderfully located on a woodland slope.

T72.
T72 in one of its original configurations.
T72-cz.

Krug.
Tracked missile carrier "Krug" and a view of the spectacular surroundings.

Something like this none of us had seen before - except maybe on a photo - but now we have seen "in real life" the Krug being taken through its paces!

There were obviously much more to see, so our recommendation for those who want to see tracked vehicles really move is to go to Prague and Lesany the last weekend of August 2007!
